May 25, 1995 American West Airline Flight 564 enroute from Tampa Florida to Las Vegas, NV which was cruising steadily at an altitude of 39,000 feet sees an unidentified object as a thin long cylindrical object about 400 feet in length, with a series of blinking lights blinking on and off sequentially in a counter clockwise rotation.

In what was one of the best cases of airline pilots occurred just months after the Japan Airline flight # 1628 and it took place in the same Alaskan Air.
